Course Description
This course is 8-hours long and includes classroom and outdoor time learning to increase survival skills within an urban/suburban setting. The focus is placed on the critical tasks necessary to shelter in place ("Bug In"). The urban environment is notably different from a wilderness landscape, requiring a unique library of knowledge to overcome likely challenges. Students learn:

Students who arrive without a piece of non-optional equipment listed below will be asked to leave, may be unable to participate in certain sections of instruction, or may be able to purchase suitable replacements on the premises, at our sole discretion. Minimum Class Size Requirement
Due to the logistical efforts required to conduct this course, a minimum of 8 students must be registered and pre-paid, as of 72 hours before the scheduled time and date, for the course to be held. If this minimum requirement can not be met, the course will be rescheduled to a future date.
